Economically Weaker Class (EBC)

This scheme is applicable for ALL SECTIONS of economically weaker students whose family annual income is upto Rs. 8 Lakhs.

Class / Courses Applied For

Junior College – FYJC & SYJC (Science / Commerce)
Degree College – First / Second / Third Years (BA-MMC, B.Com, BAF, BBI, BFM)

Eligibility

• The students should be domicile of Maharashtra.
• Income limit of the family should be uptoRs. 8 Lakhs.
• First two children of a family is eligible for the scheme.
• Candidates of the general categories can apply.
• During course the candidate should not have a gap of two years.

Documents required

• Domicile certificate issued by authorized officer.
• Family annual income certificate from Tahsildar office.
• An affidavit for family declaration certificate about two children. – Undertaking / Pratigyapatra
• a. Mark-sheets of Std. 10 & 12.
• b. Previous year’s mark-sheet.
• Gap certificate, if applied.

Process

• The eligible students have to apply online at https://mahadbtmahait.gov.in
• After filling the on line form, the students have to submit a copy of printed form with above documents in the college to Mrs. Chhaya A. Rai.
• For any assistance, contact Mrs. Chhaya A. Rai, Time – 10.00 am to 10.50 am in the college staff room.
